  • Overview

    Red River is seeking an exceptional Account Executive for our growing Life Sciences and Research Sales division.

    Responsibilities

    • Promote Red River as a Solutions provider with a focus on Cloud applications, Saas and HW/SW solution stacks
    • Gather and understand customer business processes and gaps to craft solutions that meet business needs
    • Utilize knowledge and fluency of strategic sales techniques to develop and implement a successful sales plan.
    • Develop and maintain customer base
    • Leverage relationships within the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry.
    • Drive revenue and margin through individual account base
    • Technical acumen in areas of storage, big data, computing, and networking
    • Promote cutting edge, disruptive technology and services to senior executives and researchers.
    • Maintain knowledge base on new and existing products
    • Deep understanding in sales methodology of prospecting, pipeline, and forecast

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Life Sciences, Research, Pharmaceutical industry technology, terminology, concepts and IT challenges
    • Ability to relate technical and business needs of customer to Red River solution portfolio
    • Experience selling software solutions and applications within Life Sciences preferred
    • Thorough understanding of how to position enterprise hardware, software and applications within Life Science accounts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Minimum of five years of outside technical solution sales experience
    • Prior consulting experience and/or Saas, Cloud experience preferred
    • Experience with the Life Sciences and Research technology industry preferred
