  • Overview

    The Alliance Partner Manager foucssing on Commercial is responsible for driving and facilitating business between Partners and Red River Sales.  The APM will represent Red River in partner engagement-oriented activities.  Responsibilities include driving Executive-level and field-level relationships between Partners and Red River. Our Alliance Partner Manager will guide the development and launch of joint solutions in the Infrastructure, Services and Software space, executing go-to-market plans with a Commercial and SLED focus. Establishing and growing business, partnership, executive, sales and engineering relationships, while also managing the day-to-day partner interactions, APM drives top-line revenue growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Broker/facilitate strategic product planning initiatives, including discussions, between Internal teams and the appropriate Strategic Partner representatives
    • Monitor Partner related sales/new business results and make recommendations for improvement as needed
    • Work with each Partner to establish clear operational escalation procedures wherein the appropriate individuals are initiating and receiving the issues
    • Work with Strategic Partners and Internal teams on deal registrations and promotional opportunities
    • Ensure vendor relations and programs support Red River software division growth and partnerships
    • Maximize rebates, marketing and headcount funding

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent Industry experience
    • Preferred Channels Sales Management Experience
    • Multi-level relationship building experience
    • Ability to execute, focused on results, strong teamwork skills, self-motivated and pro-active
    • Strong Communication skills
    • Ability to do account planning and long-term sales development 

    Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

    • Software sales background preferred
