Red River is seeking an exceptional individual for this addition to our growing Network team. Most work is carried out at customer sites or via remote access, so your home location is less important than your ability to travel. However, as most of our customers are located in the eastern United States, we would prefer someone based on this side of the country.


The Network Deployment Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide effective network and voice administration services for Red River’s growing customer base. The Network Deployment Engineer will provide front-line Help Desk support for customers and assist our Program Management Office during installations at customer sites nationwide. Additionally, the Network Deployment Engineer will work closely with existing technical staff to support Red River’s internal networking infrastructure. For the right individual, this position has significant growth potential.


Target Location - New England based


  • Support, troubleshoot, install, and configure routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Support, troubleshoot, and install Unified Communications and wireless devices
  • Develop network and voice configuration documentation for customers
  • Ensure security protocols across the network platform
  • Maintain industry certifications as required
  • Travel to regional customer sites as required to support Red River business initiatives


  • Cisco Certified Network Associate certification required
  • Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
  • Experience with Enterprise Wireless, VoIP, QoS, and IP Telephony technologies

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites nationwide
