Overview

Our goal is to continuously bring value to our customers by constantly up leveling our team and developing the sales organization through advisory, reference architecture and advanced solutions development. This role will introduce new skills or experience as a leader to demonstrate and lead the way in more advanced conversation, delivering solutions, and managing the portfolio in a given practice area.     

Practice Areas: Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, and Data Center

 

Position is focused on enhancing our brand, extending our OEM technical reach, and looking at technology shifts within their focused discipline solution areas across the portfolio.  This role will align to driving sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage portfolio within the practice area by leading the identification and development of reference architectures and building practice focus areas
  • Aligning and coordination of team architects in supporting and owning field opportunities based on needed expertise
  • Drive Sales Enablement: Mentor sales team and technical teams on our reference architectures and advanced solutions, with a focus on elevating customer conversations supporting a value lead sale
  • Partnering with service organization to align a service capability strategy to identified reference architectures and advanced solutions
  • Build a deep understanding of customer problems and unique and differentiated architectures across markets and verticals
  • Align with sales management in support of practice offerings and new market opportunities
  • Build strategic relationships with key manufacturers technical and field sales practice leadership
  • Lead team development and growth inclusive of an eminence plan
  • Hubs of Excellence buildout and leadership
  • Leadership of assigned advanced solutions
  • Office of the CTO representation
  • Maintain industry certifications as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent required, masters in technical discipline or MBA preferred
  • At least 15 years of experience, 10 years in a specific architectural focus, with 4 years of leadership experience
  • Certifications in area of specialization preferred

  • Travel could be up to 60%
