Overview

Red River delivers innovative IT solutions to critical challenges facing the U.S. government.  In support of this mission, Red River is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented individual to serve as both an Assistant Security Officer and Contract Specialist in our Contracts & Compliance department.  This position is expected to report to our headquarters facility in Claremont, New Hampshire and require overnight travel approximately 10% of the time, including attendance at various training and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Red River’s Facility Security Officer to administer the security aspects of Red River’s government contracts.
  • Coordinate and process the “onboarding” of personnel in support of the company’s government contracts, with particular emphasis on contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
    • Interact with prime and subcontractor personnel to obtain contractually-required credentials.
    • Monitor, track and follow-through with onboarding process from beginning to completion.
  • Assist in the review and approval of solicitations, proposals, terms and conditions, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other contractual documents.
  • Establish and maintain records in the company’s learning management system.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • U.S citizen
  • Experience working in federal government contracting, preferably with contracts that include personnel security requirements
  • Working understanding of the federal government contracting process, including general familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other agency acquisition regulations
  • Working understanding of government security and confidentiality requirements
  • Ability to be cleared for a Top Secret government security clearance (existing security clearance preferred but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, persistence and superior attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
