Financial Analyst

Regular Full-Time


The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting and monitoring financial data, preparing financial reports and recommending actions for internal and external stakeholders for Red River’s Strategic Programs business unit. The Financial Analyst will also work closely with the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis on the annual corporate budget and monthly forecast preparation.


  • Prepare monthly Financial Statements for the Strategic Programs business unit and present findings to the Manager of FP&A
  • Perform ROI analysis for each program managed by the Strategic Programs team.
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the Strategic Programs business unit’s performance against historical, budgeted and forecasted results
  • Prepare the annual Strategic Programs business unit budget as well as program level budgets
  • Report weekly status updates to the Manager of FP&A for all open programs
  • Develop weekly meeting cadence with all Program Managers to review status of open programs
  • Assist with financial modeling for the bids and proposal process for new programs
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of applicable work experience
  • Appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Experience with government contracting and the FAR
  • Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion is required
  • Strong presence with ability to interact with Senior Leadership
