Overview

Our Mobility Deployment Engineer is a front-line customer facing expert.  Red River seeks a Level 2 and Level 3 Mobility expert to add to our team.

 

The Mobility Deployment Engineer provides effective network and wireless installation and administration services for Red River’s growing customer base.  The Mobility Deployment Engineer's are providing front-line engineering services for customers and assist our Professional Services Operations team during installations at customer sites nationwide.  This role supports multiple Red River contracts.    

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead for government contract that includes wireless specific deliverables.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and install wireless and related technologies.  Examples: Cisco Wireless Controllers & Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
  • Develop network and wireless configuration documentation for customers
  • Maintain industry certifications as required

Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of the milestones associated with completing a wireless installation.
  • Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
  • Understanding of Cisco unified wireless architecture and hardware
  • Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 protocols
  • Wireless site survey experience
  • Wireless LAN deployment experience
  • CCNA Certification required
  • Proven team leadership skills

 

Additional Information:

  • AirMagnet software experience preferred
